KOELREUTERIA PANICULATA FASTIGIATA

Date 2 September 2014

Koelreuteria paniculata “fastigiata”, also known as “lantern tree” due to the peculiar shape of its seeds envelopes, has its origins in northern China and Korea. A small tree of great decorative value, is very resistant to cold climates, and often employed in creating landscaping walks and gardens. The Fastigiata cultivar, that we reproduce by cuttings in order to avoid excessive costs and grafting problems, is endowed with a pyramid shaped foliage and an upright, tidy growth,. that make it an easy-maintenance tree.
