This is a shrub or small tree which is expecially appraised for its autumn foliage of spectacular colours, often lasting several months.
It is immune to diseases and very sturdy, in adult plants the bark peels off, thus endowing it with lovely weathered looks.
Unlike the wild Parrotica, the ‘Vanessa’ has a pyramidal stance, almost column-like, while possessing much more elegant looks. It is produced by grafting onto the wild variety.
